Life Coaching Sessions - à la carte

Life Coaching is the art and practice of enabling individuals and groups to move from where they are to where they want to be in the future; to move to higher levels of fulfillment; and to focus on enhanced performance, possibilities, and reaching one's goals and dreams. Coaches encourage, challenge, and motivate others to clarify their own life directions, to gain confidence and commitment, and to move forward to the place where they want to be (Collins, 2014).

Coaching is about career development, getting unstuck, developing, and reaching corporate/business, ministerial, and personal goals, managing conflict, getting through life transitions, clarifying visions, and building better relationships.

Whereas counseling/therapy is about uncovering and recovering, Coaching is about Discovering!

I look forward to partnering with individuals, families, groups, athletes/sports teams, ministries, and businesses to promote self-discovery and design for better living, functioning, and working.

Getting the Most Out of Coaching

Coaching is an ongoing relationship that most often is client centered and goal directed. Every coaching situation is unique. Coaching will being by exploring the issues that the person, couple, or group wants to change. In what areas do they want to grow? There is also a need for better awareness of where the person is at present (e.g., strengths, weaknesses, abilities, interests, passions, spiritual gifts, values, worldviews, and hopes). Coaching is not about healing; it is about growing. The client wants to make significant progress and change in their life. The client and coach agree that the coaching relationship will be designed together.

Client-Coach Commitment

Coaches guide people from where they are toward greater competence and fulfillment they desire. Coaching helps people and groups who want to get unstuck, build their confidence, expand their vision for the future, fulfill their dreams, unblock their potential, increase their skills, move through transitions, and take practical steps toward their goals. Coaching is not about looking bad; it is about looking ahead. The coach and client will work at a minimum together for 3 months. This allows the coaching relationship necessary time to develop, to form new habits, and to progress through objectives, obstacles, and successes that occur.
